For the Love of Art
Yamet Arts. Inc. has had much success during the past years and we are truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful art market.
Penny and Rick Yamet will be sponsoring an event that will promote local artists of the Hudson Valley. It will be called “For the Love of Art” and will be held this coming February 15th.
Yamet Arts, Inc. will co-sponsor the event with Ben Green, owner of the historic Peekskill Hat Factory, the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art and The Peekskill Arts Council.
We look forward to sharing the event with the artists, fellow dealers and people from the community.

When I saw this web site, I had to chime in. Rick Yamet, you are a chip off the old block. I did plenty of business with your father Irving when I had my own gallery on Madison Avenue back in the 1970s. He was one of the best in the business and it’s so wonderful to see you following in your father’s footsteps – big shoes to fill but you’re doing it.
Penny and Rick Yamet at Yamet Arts are always my first call when I need an appraisal or any question about the art business answered. I trust and value your professionalism. You are extremely honorable and you’ve always looked out for my best interests since I retired from art dealing. Best of luck with all your endeavors. Although an artist myself, I’m relatively new to the business side of art.
