A Show of Heartfelt, Diverse Works

Susan Hodara of the New York Times wrote in her review of our soon to open For the Love of Art Exhibit "visitors...will experience a confluence of contrasts. The show includes works by more than 37 contemporary Hudson Valley artists, along with approximately 60 pieces by icons like Warhol, Picasso and Rembrandt.Media used run the gamut from painting, drawing, sculpture and photography to installations, collage and video. The contemporary artists come from diverse ethnic backgrounds; vary in age from 20s to 60s; and live from as far south as Mount Vernon and Irvington up to Hudson, Beacon and Catskill. All the artwork in the show is for sale; the contemporary pieces are priced at $800 to $8,000, while the masterworks are $5,000 to more than $100,000. Read the entire article.
