Odin Cathcart was born in 1963 in upstate New York. He received his BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1987 and is completing his MFA in2009 at SUNY New Paltz. His work derives its aesthetic from the conflict and cohabitation of human industry, civilization and technology and the natural environment.
