Penrick Collections is a family run business established in 1965. We specialize in European and American fine art of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Our collection includes
hand signed prints and originals by modern, contemporary and old masters.
Started by Irving Yamet in 1958 and incorporated in 1965, Yamet Arts is recognized as a leading dealer in Picasso, Chagall, Miro, Calder, Christo, Warhol et al.
President Rick Yamet has been called upon to be an expert witness in cases regarding value and fraud. He is also a member in good standing of the Appraisers Association of America,
an organization of themost outstanding dealers in their field. Rick Yamet has been active in the field since 1976 and president of Yamet Arts, Inc. since 1982.
Yamet Arts enjoys an excellent reputation among its competitors and peers.
On July 26th, Yamet Arts was mentioned in a New York Times article about how hard economic times cause artists and art dealers to find new ways of cooperating with each other. The article, by Phillip Lutz, titled Economic Downturn Forces Groups to get Creative uses as one example the For Love of Art Show last February, sponsored by Rick Yamet and Ben Green. Because attendance was far above expectations, Yamet and Green are considering follow up shows in the future. As hosts of the show, Yamet and Green feel that working together with local artists and dealers is a winning situation for all those involved. The team work shows these joint efforts can be successful and benefit the artists and the sponsors while providing the public with access to a variety of creative work even during difficult economic times.

Glad to see your mention in the NY Times. The good thinking that involves combined efforts to show art should be applauded. The space at the Hat Factory is great as it can accomodate large shows and large concepts. I would be happy to be part of any future exhibitions.
